Africa Surgery Nederland has made it possible again! The organization has paid the full school fees for an entire year for schoolchildren in Makeni, Sierra Leone. In addition, the children receive free teaching materials. We have been asked to help more people. We ask for your support in this endeavor.
On behalf of Africa Surgery Nederland, we have an urgent and heartwarming request: our coordinator in Sierra Leone has approached us with a request to sponsor 20 schoolchildren. With a contribution of just €70 per child per year, these children can attend school and receive the necessary teaching materials.
For many in Makeni, Sierra Leone, education is an unattainable dream. But with your help, we can make that dream a reality. Your contribution means not only access to education, but also hope, opportunities, and a better future for these children.
We would also like to express our appreciation to Iris de Wit, who, despite her busy job as a legal specialist, is wholeheartedly committed to Africa Surgery Nederland. After the passing of our beloved Piet Rietkerk, she took on the financial responsibility, enabling our organization to continue to exist and remain committed to the most vulnerable people in Sierra Leone.
