Salifu voor zijn operatie aan zijn gebroken arm (links) en na zijn operatie (rechts)
Salifu Kamara came to us because his right arm had been broken. We soon discovered that Salilfu was also suffering with pulmonary tuberculosis, which he could easily spread to others by his coughing. We housed Salifu at one of our centers and started him on a regimen of anti-TB medications and adequate feeding. After eight months we had Salifu’s arm repaired by a team of orthopedic surgeons visiting from Germany.
